Panch Badri, a sacred group of five revered shrines dedicated to Lord Vishnu, is nestled in the breathtaking Garhwal Himalayas, Uttarakhand, India. The five Badris – Badrinath, Yogadhyan Badri, Bhavishya Badri, Adi Badri, and Vriddha Badri – represent different aspects of Lord Vishnu, showcasing his various incarnations and forms. Badrinath, the main Badri, is situated on the banks of the Alaknanda River, while Yogadhyan Badri in Joshimath represents Lord Vishnu in meditation. Bhavishya Badri in Subain symbolizes the future incarnation of Lord Vishnu, Adi Badri in Chamoli represents the original abode of Lord Vishnu, and Vriddha Badri in Animath depicts Lord Vishnu as an old man. This sacred journey offers spiritual growth, enlightenment, and breathtaking views of the Himalayas, making it a once-in-a-lifetime experience for devotees and travelers alike.

Tour Itinerary:

Day 01:- Dehradun Airport/Railway station – Rishikesh – 20 Kms/1 Hr Drive
Pick up from Dehradun Airport/ Railway station and drive to Rishikesh, On arrival at Rishikesh, check in to the hotel and Relax.
Rishikesh – at a height of about 1360 feet above sea level, Rishikesh is nestled affectionally by lower Himalayan range and silvery flow of river Ganga. The town is a major centre of spirituality and Hindu pilgrimage. Several temples dot the banks of the Ganges here in Rishikesh. Since ages, Yogi’s & Sadhus lived and practiced Hinduism here. This small hill town got an introduction with the western world in late 60’s when The Beatles came here to learn transcendental meditation and stayed at an Ashram.
In the evening, witness the enchanting Ganga Aarti ceremony at Triveni Ghat. Join the serene ritual as bhajans echo through the air, prayers are offered to Agni, the fire god, and the lamps flicker in a final act of reverence along the sacred riverbanks. Experience the spiritual resonance of Rishikesh through its timeless landmarks and rituals.

Day 02:- Rishikesh Sightseeing
After leisurely breakfast, get ready to explore Rishikesh. Start with a visit to Bharat Mandir, the city’s oldest, most sacred, and renowned temple. Reinstalled by Jagadguru Adi Shankaracharya in 789 A.D., this ancient temple holds deep historical significance, featured in revered Hindu scriptures. Lord Hrishikesh, also known as Shri Bharatji Maharaj, is venerated here as the incarnation of Lord Vishnu in Kaliyuga.
Adjacent to the holy Ganga in Swargashram lies the expansive complex of Geeta Bhawan, offering devotees over 1000 rooms for a comfortable, cost-free stay during their pilgrimage. Founded in 1942 by Pujya Swami Shukdevanand Ji Maharaj, Parmarth Niketan stands as the largest ashram in Rishikesh, providing a pure and sacred atmosphere amid lush gardens for thousands of pilgrims from around the globe.
Next take a journey into the Cultural Revolution at Beatles Ashram, where the legendary band, the Beatles, once sought spiritual solace in 1968. Now part of Rajaji National Park, the ashram bears witness to their transformative visit.

Day 03:- Rishikesh – Rudraprayag – 130 Kms/ 4-5 Hrs
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Rudraprayag.
Rudraprayag, a sacred town in Uttarakhand, India, is nestled in the majestic Himalayas, where the Alaknanda and Mandakini rivers converge. This picturesque town, named after Lord Shiva (Rudra), is a significant pilgrimage center, attracting devotees and adventure seekers alike. Rudraprayag is the starting point for the Char Dham Yatra, a revered Hindu pilgrimage, and is also a gateway to the Kedarnath and Badrinath temples.
The town boasts stunning natural beauty, with lush forests, towering mountains, and serene rivers, making it an ideal destination for trekking, rafting, and other outdoor activities.
The revered Rudraprayag Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva, is a major attraction, showcasing intricate architecture and spiritual significance. With its unique blend of spirituality, natural beauty, and adventure, Rudraprayag is a captivating destination that leaves a lasting impression on all who visit. Overnight stay at Rudraprayag.

Day 04:- Rudraprayag – Badrinath 155 Kms/ 5-6 Hrs
After breakfast, transfer to Badrinath. On Arrive Check in at Hotel.
Badrinath is a village located at an altitude of 3133 m, protected by the mountains of Nara and Narayana on the bank of the Alakananda River. The place of appearance and the abode of Nara-Narayana, which, along with Gangotri, Yamunotri and Kedarnath, is revered as one of the four Garvale shrines.
The name of the temple “Badrinath” is associated with the ancient tradition, according to which, Lord Vishnu performed austerity in this place. In order to save her husband from the scorching rays of the sun, the goddess Lakshmi took the form of a tree of Vishala-Badari (Great Fig tree), hiding the god under the shade of the branches. Satisfied with the devotion of a consort, Lord Vishnu said that from now on this place would bear her name. The gates of the temple are open only six months a year. This is due to extreme weather conditions in the Himalayas. At the entrance to the temple are the sacred hot springs. Those interested can visit the village of Manna – located on the Indo-Tibetan border and Vasudhara Falls.

Day 05:- Badrinath to Pandukeshwar (40 mint drive) Yog Dhyan Badri to Joshimath -44 km/2 hours approx
After breakfast, proceed to Pandukeshwar and visit Yog Dhyan Badri Temple. After visit temple drive to Joshimath, on arrival check-in at hotel. Evening visit Narsingh Temple after that you are free to explore Joshimath, overnight stay at hotel.

Day 06:- Joshimath to Saldhar – Bhavishya Badri – Joshimath – 11 km drive & 06 km trek-one side
After breakfast, drive to Saldhar via Tapovan, arrive to Saldhar start trek to Bhavishya Badri 6kms trek for one side. On arrival at Bhavishya Badri visit temple and explore the area, after back trek to Saldhar and drive to joshimath. And visit Shankracharya temple or visit joshimath city, Overnight stay at hotel in Joshimath.

Day 07:- Joshimath to Virdha Badri – Adi Badri to Rudraprayag – 92 Km/2-3 hrs approx
After breakfast, check out the hotel and start drive to Virdha Badri and Adibadri via Karanpryag. After visit temple drive to Rudraprayag, on arrival check-in at hotel. Over night stay at hotel in Rudraprayag.

Day 08:- Rudraprayag – Haridwar – 160 Kms/ 5-6 Hrs
Morning after breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Haridwar, on arrival check in to the hotel and relax.
The word Haridwar is the combination of two words “Hari” means the God and “Dwar” means the gate. The literary meaning of Haridwar is the gate to Gods. The city is located at the point where the Ganges leaves the Himalayas to begin its journey across the plains, makes it a particularly holy place. Every 12 years the Kumbh holy bath festival attracts millions of pilgrims who come and bathe in the river.
Later, visit famous Chandi devi temple by Ropeway and Daksh Prajapati temple at Kankhal. In the evening, Visit Har-Ki-Pauri, the sacred ghat was constructed by King Vikramaditya in the memory of his brother Bhartrihari. The golden reflection of floral diyas in the river Ganges is the most enchanting sight in the twilight during the Ganga aarti ceremony at the ghat. Drive past the other bathing ghats at the Ganga river, where pilgrims come to take a dip… it is believed that all your sins get washed away if you take dip in Ganga river at Haridwar.
Overnight stay at Haridwar.

Day 09:- Haridwar – Dehradun Airport/ Railway station drop- 42 Kms/ 1-2 Hrs
At an appropriate time, check out from the hotel and drive to Dehradun Airport/Railway station to catch your flight/train.
