The “Chota Char Dham of India” or “CharDham Yatra” refers to a group of four Himalayan abodes that contain the four Hindu holy sanctuaries of Badrinath, Kedarnath, Gangotri, and Yamunotri. The Garwhal area of Uttarakhand state in North India is home to all of these temples.Of the four sacred places, Lord Shiva is honoured at Kedarnath, while Lord Vishnu is honoured at Badrinath. However, the goddesses of the Yamuna and Ganga rivers are honoured at Yamunotri and Gangotri, respectively. The CharDham Yatra holds immense significance in the Hindu religion, and it is believed that every Hindu ought to participate in the yatra at least once in their lives.

 

DAY-01: HARIDWAR TO GUPTKASHI – DRIVE 200 KMS / 7-8 HRS

Arrive in the morning, drive to Guptakashi, and check into the hotel or camp.

In the Garhwal Himalayas, Guptakashi, also known as “hidden Kashi,” is a temple city with breathtaking vistas of the snow-capped peaks. It is one of the most significant and exquisite pilgrimage sites. Following the Battle of Kuruksetra, as chronicled in the Mahabharata, the Pandavas are said to have desired to make amends for Shiva’s fratricide. In order to avoid running into them in Kashi, he went to Guptakashi disguised as Nandi, the bull. The bull tried to be grabbed by the tail and paws by the brothers after Bhima revealed the god, but he vanished into the cave and transformed back into five various incarnations of Shiva. This disappearance gave the name of the city.

Dinner & overnight stay at Camp/Hotel.

DAY 02: TO KEDARNATH BY HELICOPTER

Report to the helipad at 6:30 in the morning. Fly down after completing Darshan and Pooja. Once you arrive, you will be taken to a hotel.

Temple of Kedarnath The sculpted façade of the 1000-year-old temple is situated in a courtyard under the guardianship of a Nandi bull. This location is very important in the mythical Mahabharata story. There’s one of India’s twelve naturally-formed ‘Jyotirlingas’ inside the main sanctuary. The Pandavas and Lord Shiva are depicted in carvings at the shrine.

Dinner and a hotel or camp stay the night.

DAY-03: GUPTKASHI TO HARIDWAR – DRIVE 200 KMS / 7-8 HRS

Transfer to Badrinath via Chopta on the way there after breakfast. Check into the hotel upon arrival. On Arrive Check in at Hotel.

Situated on the bank of the Alakananda River, at an elevation of 3133 metres, Badrinath village is shielded by the Nara and Narayana mountains. The location of Nara-Narayana’s appearance and dwelling, one of the four Garvale shrines along with Gangotri, Yamunotri, and Kedarnath.

DAY-04: HOTEL TO HARIDWAR RAILWAY STATION

Transfer you to the Haridwar railway station after breakfast so you may take your train.

  • Standard/Budget Hotels are only served neat & clean room with hygienic food so don’t expect any luxurious.

  • We shall not be responsible for any change in the itinerary due to landslides, flight cancellations, weather conditions or any unforeseen circumstances. The additional cost incurred will be in addition to the cost.

  • Booking will be approved to be confirmed after get 50% advance payment.

  • If any Cancelation made prior of 30 days of the booking, There is no retention charged.

  • If any Cancelation made prior of 15 days of the booking, Cause to charge 50 % retention of the total amount.

  • If any Cancelation made after 15 days of the booking, Cause to not refundable of any amount.

  • In case of any immigration/Visa complications, the cancellation policy shall be applicable in full



Important Information for Char Dham Yatra : –

  • Due to the holy land (Uttarakhand ), NON-VEGETARIAN FOOD is strictly NOT allowed. The meals served during the tour will be purely vegetarian.

  • Trek only for Kedaranth ( 18 kms Perside) & Yamunoti ( 6 kms Per side ) by Trek / Pony & Helicopter only for Kedarnath & VIP Darshan is Mandatory for same day return.

  • Local Transport is required for Kedaranth Trek from Sonprayag to Gorikund .

  • Transports will go till Badrinath & Gangotri Temples with little walking distance.

  • In Kedarnath only Neat & Clean Budgeted Hotels is Available.

  • Biometric of the Passenger is necessary for Char Dham Yatra by Government as Free of Cost at several Places like Haridwar, Rishikesh, Barkot, Phata, Govindghat ect.

  • Require heavy Woolen Cloths & Raincoat for mainly Kedarnath visit or stay.
